Long before the Europeans came to the Jersey Cape, Native Americans lived and vacationed here. These were the Lenni-Lenape, Northeastern Woodlands Indians with their own unique lifestyle and culture. Learn about them, the impact of European colonization on them and legends like King Nummy and Princess Snowflower (Cape May’s Pocahontas).
