Ocean Galleries will share artworks from The Art of Dr. Seuss Collectionover Father’s Day weekend when they debut “The Cat Behind the Hat!” exhibit – a series of print and bronze limited edition art.
Meet Art of Dr. Seuss collection representative, Jeff Schuffman, as he discusses this first time showing for the exhibition during receptions 7:00 to 10:00 PM on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, and 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 16, 2019.
During the “Cat Behind the Hat!” exhibition,visitors can explore and acquire works from Dr. Seuss’s best-known children’s books, as well as The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss, a mind-expanding collection based on decades of artwork. The new collection of art will include serigraphs, mixed media, and fine art on paper and canvas, as well as bronze sculptures, all highlighting the famous feline with clever names, such as “The Great Cat Continuum” and “Venetian Cat Signing Oh Solo Meow.”
The exhibition is free. In honor of the “cat” and many other animals that Dr. Seuss loved, Ocean Galleries will be raising money for the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center throughout the event. For more info, visit OceanGalleries.com/CMCAnimalShelter
