Chef Guy Fieri has been celebrating America’s best food offerings for 20 years on his Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. After 26 seasons of highlighting the incredible food that chefs prepare around the country, Fieri has made quite a few stops in New Jersey, especially at the beach. Here’s a look at some of the restaurants he’s visited to add to your Jersey Shore itinerary!
Mustache Bill’s- Barnegat Light, NJ
This Long Beach Island joint has been around for over 35 years and serving up delicious breakfast food. Although the menu is classic and basic, this restaurant dishes out incredibly tasty food. A classic Jersey diner, this is a great place to stop for a nice breakfast meal while you stay on LBI.
Kelsey and Kim’s Southern Cafe- Atlantic City, NJ
If you want authentic Southern food, look no further than Kelsey and Kim’s. Husband Kelsey and his wife Kim dish out real comfort food just a mile away from the Atlantic City boardwalk. Blending Southern and seafood, this restaurant is a great combination of New Jersey and the south.
White House Sub Shop- Atlantic City, NJ
Home of Guy Fieri’s favorite sub, White House Sub Shop serves up the best subs in AC. Fieri’s go-to is the Italian sub, but he encourages everyone to try different variations and find their favorite since there is no going wrong with White House Subs. The sandwiches are huge and super convenient to pick up and take to the beach.
Piccini- Ocean City, NJ
If you’re headed to Ocean City, NJ, Piccini is definitely a place to stop and try their signature pizza. A little off the wall, but delicious according to Guy Fieri, their specialty is a bacon cheeseburger pizza that uses ketchup and mustard instead of traditional tomato sauce. It’s a local favorite and a great place to try something new, or stick to old favorites, like their popular Vodka Sauce pasta.
Quahog’s Seafood Shack- Stone Harbor, NJ
Known for their unusual seafood, this place serves up tasty and eclectic treats. They make standard dishes like, like out-of-this-world clam strips, as well as some more interesting delicacies, like the Pacu Pacu Fish Ribs that Fieri devoured on his show. Swing through this place to try something a little more adventurous.
Maui’s Dog House- Wildwood, NJ
This off-the-wall hotdog joint dishes out different varieties of hot dogs with over 29 different fresh, homemade toppings. Known for their sense of humor, all dogs are served in a dog bowl. This local favorite is a great place to relax and enjoy Wildwood like a local, while getting a kick out of the humor and filling up with yummy eats.
George’s Place- Cape May, NK
Classic Greek meets Jersey Shore at this Cape May restaurant. Featured on the show’s Thanksgiving special, this Greek place cooks up classic Greek food with an American flair. Put this place on your itinerary if you love a delicious meal cooked by a passionate family!
