Langosta Lounge
This restaurant right on the Asbury Park boardwalk serves “vacation-inspired” world cuisine. Stop by during Happy Hour for unique eats like Habanero Agave Glazed Wings and Lobster Carbonara Pizza. Interesting lunch starter items include the Langosta Bisque with Portuguese sherry and cream lobster and beet crisps, Cuban Fried Olives in lemon basil aoli, and Summer Boa Bun with butter poached lobster, heirloom tomato, crispy pork belly, roasted Brussels sprouts, and spicy mayo. During the summer, visit Mondays for lobster bake, Tuesdays for tapas, and Sundays for “blunch.” There are events and live music every day, so there’s never a dull moment here!

Another gem in Asbury Park, this restaurant has it all! Carefully made cocktails, classy tapas, killer music, and a friendly atmosphere make Watermark the place to hang out and grab a great bite. Look out the big windows in the main room for a spectacular view of the ocean and visit the Casino, Power Station, Stone Pony, and Empress Hotel nearby. The Fireplace Lounge will help you escape the cold in the winter while the Outside Decks let you enjoy the sea breeze in the shade during the summer. The interior designers work to stimulate all 5 senses with natural, textured materials, earthy colors, and aesthetically pleasing lines for a modern but chilled out feel all times of the year. Musical genres range from pop to urban to soul to rock to R&B to house music.
All juices are freshly squeezed and the ginger beer is made from scratch. Try their specialty drinks like Bartlett Pear Vodka, Pineapple Dark Rum, Violet and Citrus Gin, Spiced Chai Rum, Lemongrass/Mint Bourbon, Strawberry Agave Champagne Cocktail, Live Love Lemon Vodka, Pineapple Smash Tequila, Raspberry Caipirinha Cachaca, and more. Bashful Banana Bakery & Cafe
This Ocean City bakery focuses on healthy, fresh, and delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners as well as treats like muffins, bagels, cookies, cakes, smoothies, coffees. It has low calorie, low fat, whole grain, high fiber, vegan, gluten-free, and non-dairy options to cater to all dietary needs.
Smoothies are made only of fruit and their signature Banana Whip, similar to frozen custard, is made only of bananas with optional toppings like chocolate chips, granola, fruit, nuts, brownie, whipped cream, and all fruit fudge sauce. The Green Mountain coffee is organic and fair trade, and espressos and cappuccinos are offered along with fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.
The Breakfast menu uses traditional ingredients like eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, cereal, pancakes, waffles, french toast, yogurt, bagels, and muffins. What makes it (and lunch and dinner as well) special is the opportunity for customization. For example, you can choose your type of bread, wrap, roll, and bagel, substitute eggs for egg beaters or whites, create your own omelette, and pick your syrup and add flax seeds to pancakes and waffles. The most original options include the Whipalope (half of a cantaloupe filled with Banana Whip and topped with fruit), Upside Down Cereal Bowl (Banana Whip topped with fruit and cereal), the Mexican Omelet (with peppers, onions, salsa, and cheese), Waffle & Whip (blueberry or banana waffle with Banana Whip and fruit), Banana Walnut Toast (Banana Oat Muffin coated with orange vanilla batter, grilled, and topped with banana and walnuts), Stuffed French Toast (dipped in orange vanilla batter and stuffed with cinnamon walnut cream cheese), and Pumpkin Walnut Cranberry Muffin!
For lunch, try the Turkey Almond (with mayo, celery, and toasted almonds) or Shrimp Salad (with lemon dill dressing) sandwich or wrap. You can get the veggie burger (made with veggies, brown rice, and flax) on a ciabatta roll or on a sub with tomato sauce and melted cheese!
