Memorial Day Ceremony
Sea isle is hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony to remember those who have died fighting in the armed forces. The ceremony will be held in Veterans Park on JFK Blvd on Monday, May 30th from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Wildwood, NJ
International Kite Festival
Head to Wildwood for the largest kite festival in North America. Kite makers from all over the world make their way to Wildwood for a kite filled weekend. The festival begins with the ‘Unlocking of the Ocean’ event on the beach by the Convention Center. Throughout the weekend there are kite competitions, workshops, and games. The festival is free for spectators, so if you’re looking for something to do, head down to Wildwood and get involved in the kite fun!

Business Person’s Plunge
If you find yourself in Ocean City on Friday, May 27th you have to witness the Business Person’s Plunge. Participants dress in business suits and carry briefcases into the ocean to welcome the 2016 summer season.

Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival
Oceanport, NJ has an event for all types of foodies. They’re putting on their food truck festival that lasts Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. The festival has more than 50 different food trucks signed on to participate. (See a full list of the participants here)

Cape May, NJ
Cape May Music Festival
Looking for a music filled weekend? Head to The Cape May Music Festival that begins on May 29th. There will be a variety of live music to celebrate 27 years of music at Cape May. Performances will be from all different genres including classical, chamber, and jazz. A particular performance that you don’t want to miss will be by the Atlantic Brass Band on May 29th. It’s free, so don’t miss it!
