Jersey Shore Car Shows to Drive to This Summer

With summer in full swing, it’s also the season of car shows, and New Jersey is no exception. Check out this list of upcoming Jersey shore car shows this summer through Labor Day:

Flemington Classic Car Show

On July 9th, any car can register for free at this show. There will be prizes, a concert, kids’ games, a DJ, and plenty of trophies. There will be other ones on July 23rd, August 6th and 20th, and September 3rd.

Burke Motor Group Car, Truck & Cycle Show

Cape May Court House will host a car show on July 9th with registration proceeds benefiting the Disabled American Veterans Association. Vendors receive a free barbeque, a concert, and a gift.

C&E Complete Auto Distributor Car Bike & Truck Show

This July 10th show is kid-friendly.

Liberty Hose Red Bank Firefighter Car Show

This July 10th show in Red Bank will feature food vendors, trophies, and a DJ.

Rods & Paws Car Show

This July 10th show in Sayreville will have food vendors and a 50/50 raffle. Night Moves will DJ and trophies will be awarded. Proceeds go to New Beginnings Animal Rescue.

Cranford Car Shows

On July 13th and August 10th, cars can register for a free show and win awards, including People’s Choice. There will be giveaways, a hula hooping competition, street performers, exhibits, and music.

Veterans’ Group Car Show

At this first annual car show at Camden County College on July 16th, one winner can receive a grand prize of $1,000! A 1981 Chevy Camaro will be raffled off. The four categories include Hot Rods Classic, Antiques/Classics, Late Model Foreign, and Late Model American. The People’s Choice Winner will also receive $1,000. Half of registration revenue will go to the nonprofit Veterans Group to support former military members with housing, food, counseling, and education. There will also be games, food, face painting, and a concert.

Boy Scout Troop 1345 Car Show

Now in its second year, this car show takes all years, makes, and models. Guests can purchase refreshments and registered cars can win awards. The show will take place on July 16th at Calvary United Methodist Church.

Mr. Cupcakes Car Show

Guests can attend this car show at Berkeley College in Paramus on July 17th for free. Trophies will be given to the top 3 cars in each class. Food trucks will serve breakfast and lunch and water ice and cupcakes as treats. There will also be door prizes, a concert, a DJ, a Tricky Tray, a live auction, and a 50/50 raffles. For children, activities include a fun bus, balloon animals, facepainting, and an appearance from Mr. Cupcakes himself. Registration revenue will go to Let Them Be Little x2.

Roebling Museum Car Show

On July 23rd, guests can visit both the Roebling Museum and a car show benefitting it that features all years, makes, models, and national origins. The Top 50 cars will receive trophies along with winners in other categories. Tom E. Tunes will DJ. There will be food and ice cream vendors and door prizes.

“Cruisin Night” Car Show

On July 29th, cars, trucks, and motorcycles of any age can win trophies in Roselle Park. “DJ Hot Rod” Mike will take the stage. Guests can enter a 50/50 raffle and walk around the sidewalk sale from local business owners.

Atlantic County Car Show

Cars that pre-register by July 17th for the July 30th car show will receive a complimentary lunch. There will also be door prizes, music, and trophies awarded to the best cars.

St. Paul School Car Show

On July 30th, cars made in 1991 or later can head to Burlington and trophies for being in the top 40, as well as Best in Show, Pastor’s Choice, Principal’s Choice, and PTA’s Choice. Breakfast and lunch will be served. There will be a 50/50 raffle, giveaways, and indoor tables accompanied by a DJ.

Everest Institute Car, Truck, and Bike Show

Spectators can view more than 400 vehicles for free on July 30th. Registered cars, trucks, and bikes are eligible for more than $5,000 in prizes. Some of the revenue will go to local veterans and high school scholarships. The wide variety of registered vehicles includes muscle cars, exotics, street rods, classics, low-riders, imports, trucks, antiques, sport bikes, cruisers, and choppers. A concert, a DJ, children’s rides, competitions, games, and vendors will accompany the show.

Wekfest East

This kid-friendly car show will take place in Edison on August 7th.

Crestwood Village Classic Car Show

Now in its second year, the show will feature music and food vendors along with the classic cars on August 13th. Registration revenue benefits the nonprofit K9s for Warriors, which provides service dogs for veterans.

Califon Classic Car Show

Also in its second year, this show will feature music by DJ Doug, food and beverage vendors, a 50/50 raffle, and classes at the Califon Municipal Building on August 13th.

American Legion Post 194 Car Show

Rescheduled from May, this classic car show in Florence will benefit American Legion Post 194 and its veterans, who will serve burgers and hot dogs. DJ Cruzin Tunes will take requests.

Metuchen Rescue Squad Benefit Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show

This August 14th show at Metuchen High School includes all makes, years, and models. Trophies include Mayor’s Choice and Longest Distance Award. The show is in its 7th year.

Cool Cricket Car & Bike Show

On August 14th, Bordentown and Fieldsboro townships will display cars and bikes of all makes and models. There will be door prizes, awards to the top 15 cars and the best in other categories, a concert, and food vendors.

Point Pleasant Boro Rotary Car Show

In its 27th year, the show will be held at the Crystal Point Yacht Club on August 17th. Wolf Man Jerry will DJ. The show will feature antique and modified cars and trucks, foreign, custom, street rods and replicars.

American Classic Car Show

This show benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project is in its 9th year at the Brick VFW Post 8867 welcomes all vehicle makes and models. The August 28th event includes a craft show, flea market, auto swap, and a concert.

LEAD EAST

Now in its 34th year, this 5-day event will take place at select Hilton and Hampton Inn hotels in Parsippany from August 31st to September 4th. There will be more than 1,000 vehicles with years 1974 and earlier, 25 bands, acapella groups, DJs, karaoke, an outdoor sock hop, an indoor dance party, a Doo Wop Idol Contest, an Impersonator Contest, a free rod repair shop, drive-in 50s movies, a rod building seminar with the designer of ZZ Top’s car, free dance lessons, a parade, clowns, face painting, a muffler rapping contest, a pie eating contest, Nerd, Bobby Soxer, and Best Greaser Contests, a 50/50 raffle for Make a Wish, and musical performances from Rave On, Greyhounds, Razorbacks, Jersey Shore Roustabouts, For Medicinal Purpose, Dave Beasley, Four Man Trio, The Heartbeats, Eugene Pitt & The Jive Five, Cleveland Still & The Dubs, Fireflies, Memories of You, Classic Sounds, The Drifters, Larry Chance & The Earls, Kid Kyle, Magic Touch, and Echos of Time.

Dead Man’s Curve Wild Weekend 5

This 4-day event will take place in Mahwah, NJ over Labor Day Weekend. There will be more than 25 bands playing various genres, cars from 1972 and earlier, celebrity appearances, a tribute to George Barris, vendors, a swap area, and a food truck festival.
