People on Facebook are pretty convinced a shark attacked the dolphin that washed up on the beach Saturday, June 13, 2015. NBC10 spoke to Bob Schoelkopf, the founding director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, NJ and said, “he has been unable to investigate because no one has told them what was done with the dolphin’s body.” Also Ashley Shimp sent us a photo she snapped the photo below on the North Wildwood beach around 2nd street over the weekend. Finally, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigintine, NJ has chimed in via their Facebook page with their hypothesis.
