From Atlantic City
Exit Atlantic City via the Atlantic City Expressway.
Take the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY North. This is a Toll Road.
Leave the Parkway at exit number 63 (NJ Rt. 72 East).
Stay on 72 East, it will take you right onto the island.

You can take Rt. 30 to Rt. 9 North.
Exit Rt. 9 at 72 East.

From the North
The trick is to get to either US Route 9 or the Garden State Parkway.
Depending on your location, you might use I-8 or I-78 or the Cross Bronx Expressway to get to I-95 or US Route 1. The Trans-Manhattan Expressway includes these routes.
Travel South on I-95 or US Route 1 until you reach the intersection with US Route 9 or the Garden State Parkway.
If traveling the Garden State Parkway, use Exit 63. On US 9, look for the Manahawkin exit. NJ Route 72 East will take you right to LBI.
From the South
Take I – 95 North to Philadelphia.
Cross the Benjamin Franklin Bridge into New Jersey and follow the signs to Cherry Hill (Route 38) and the beaches (mainly you’ll be staying on the left).
Once you’ve made the left onto the ramp that enters Route 38, you’ll have to quickly get all the way to the right onto Route 70.
Take 70 until you reach the junction for Route 72 East (It’s a circle, but you don’t have to go around, stay to the right).
Follow 72 for 26 miles right onto the island.
